PHILIPS INVESTS IN MORE TECHNOLOGY
06 November 2008
Philips Collection Services Limited, the largest privately owned revenue recovery and enforcement company in the UK, has made the adoption of new technologies a major part of its business.
Now the company has refurbished its entire external field collection teams with the latest in GPS-enabled mobile communications. The company has already invested heavily in its computer hardware, adding customer facing developments such as Client Web 24/7 access to accounts, digital pens and automated allocation routing and tracking systems (AARTS) to its technology portfolio.
The new system allows all Philips' agents to be GPS tracked, and gives them the means to view individual case histories and also to instantly update reports immediately after a visit is concluded. All updates are instantly added to the case record displayed against the debtor account. The state of the art online systems then allow clients to get an exact duplicate of documents in real time.
The company believes that its quality of service is significantly enhanced by commitment to the latest technology and has a continuous programme of evaluation including assessment of other countries and markets in its drive for new ideas.
Approved as a City & Guilds training provider, Philips Training Academy is unique in its scope and reflects Philips long term commitment to providing access to the highest professional standards.
